RECCO, the advanced rescue technology company focused on making more people searchable in the outdoors, announces the addition of Billy Treacy to its team as the North American Area Sales Manager. Treacy’s role at RECCO will be integral to the company’s continued expansion into both the North American market and four-season usage.

Treacy’s well-rounded background as both a sales and rescue professional perfectly places him for the role. With extensive experience as the Sales Director for Easton Bell Sports, Senior Sales Manager for Under Armour Performance, Sales and Sports Marketing Representative for Oakley, and Pro Ski Patroller at Brighton - there’s no doubt that Treacy’s experience will help the RECCO brand elevate its presence in the North American market.

We’re incredibly excited to welcome Billy into the RECCO family,” said Fredrik Steinwall, CEO at RECCO. “With our brand partnerships in the US and Canada only continuing to grow each season, we knew we needed someone like Billy with a wealth of experience to represent our brand in North America. Now that we have a growing amount of summer partners, we knew it was time to bring a North American Sales Manager on board. We believe he’ll do great things for our company, and are excited to see what the future holds.

In 2018, I took a career detour and became a Pro Ski Patrol member at Brighton Resort in Brighton, UT,” said Treacy. “This amazing opportunity and experience set me up well to re-enter the world of sales at RECCO, where I’ll be able to reconnect with my excellent network of snow and outdoor business professionals and stay engaged with the ski patrol community. I’m incredibly excited to join the RECCO team and continue their great work of making more people searchable, in any season.”

RECCO reflectors are integrated into outdoor clothing and equipment such as helmets, backpacks and hiking shoes from over 150 brand partners including Arc‘teryx, Helly Hansen, Patagonia, Jack Wolfskin, POC and more.
